The band was in fine company placing behind Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, Tommy Castro, Derek Trucks, and Joe Banamassa. Congratulations to our label mate and fellow Piedmont artist Candye Kane for also making the top 10. |

Jan 28th, 2010 - The Insomniacs won the 2010 Portland Music Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Blues". The Insomniacs hit the stage to close the show with a rousing performance of At Least I'm Not With You and Angry Surfer. The show was held at the Crystal Ballroom and was hosted by Daniel Baldwin and Chloe Houser. A full-length feature of the show will be available on Comcast OnDemand in February. |

| Jan 7th, 2010 - The Insomniacs topped the list in 2 categories for James "Skyy Dobro" Walker's top 25 CD's and top 50 songs for 2009. James' picks were published in the January edition of the Blues Blast online Magazine. At Least I'm Not With You took the top slot for Best Album and Description Blues took home Best Song honors. They also placed at #13 for a live take of Stick Around on Delta Grooves' Live at Ground Zero CD. The Complete list is available at the Illinois Blues Website. |

| Nov 30th, 2009 - The title track from "At Least I'm Not With You", written by Vyasa Dodson, has been nominated for Song of the Year by the Blues Music Awards. The band was also nominated for a BMA in 2008 for Best New Artist Debut. Voting takes place online at the Blues Foundation website and is open to all foundation members until March 1, 2010. The 31st Blues Music Awards will be held on May 6, 2010, at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN. |

| Oct 29th, 2009 - The Insomniacs were honored to be nominated this year for *three* Blues Blast Music Awards by Illinois Blues. They headed to Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago to participate in the awards show and to enjoy a great night of music. The band had the opportunity to back up "Sean Costello Rising Star Award" nominee Dave Gross for a blistering set and enjoyed hanging with old and new friends. It was a great night of music and excitement that culminated for the band when the final award was announced and The Insomniacs won the Best Contemporary Blues Recording category. They took the stage and closed the show with the help of fellow Portland great Curtis Salgado. | |
